We're delighted to fuse a classic of Asian cuisine with one of our old-time favorites. Think of Hoisin as the Chinese version of American BBQ sauce: rich with umami, sweet and tangy elements. We combined the Hoisin pork with braised red cabbage in a blend that might make this a new staff favorite.
It's hard to find store-bought Hoisin sauce without preservatives and stabilizers, so we made it ourselves, using ingredients such as natural peanut butter and gluten-free soy sauce.
